Privacy Policy
Lil Nose: Your Virtual Pet · Last updated: 13 September 2026
This policy explains what Lil Nose does with information. The short version: the pet lives on your iPhone. We do not run user accounts, ads, or our own analytics.
1. No account with us
Lil Nose does not ask for your name, email, or a login. You do not create a profile on our servers.
2. What stays on your iPhone
The app stores, on the device:
- the name you give your pet
- breed and game state (hunger, energy, mood, cleanliness, health, friendship, and similar)
- a local memory journal
- settings (notifications, sound, haptics, language)
- small flags such as whether you have seen the widget or notification tips
The Home Screen widget reads the same local files so it can show your friend. That data does not leave the device for the widget.
This is game data, not a medical record. "Health" in the app is a virtual meter.
3. What leaves the device
Apple. If you buy Premium, restore a purchase, or tap Rate, Apple handles that. We do not see your full card number or Apple ID password. Apple's own privacy policy covers App Store payments and the review prompt.
A version check. From time to time the app may request a small public file over the internet to see if this version should still run. If the file is missing or the request fails, the app keeps working. Like any ordinary website visit, that request can show the host your IP address, approximate time, and a standard device/app identifier in the request. We do not use this to build a profile of you.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, crash SDKs, or social logins.
4. Notifications
Reminders are local. They are created on your phone from the pet's state. We do not send remote push messages from a server.
A notification may include the pet's name, because the message is about that friend.
You can turn alerts off in Lil Nose Settings or in iOS Settings.
5. What we do not collect
We do not use:
- camera, microphone, or photo library
- your location
- contacts, calendar, or HealthKit
- tracking across other companies' apps
- a cloud save or friend list (those are not in the app)
6. Children
Lil Nose is a virtual pet for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There is no sign-up.
A parent or guardian should use their Apple ID for any purchase. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us through Support and we will delete what we can. Local pet data is deleted by removing the friend or the app on that device.
7. How to delete data
- Remove a friend in Settings to delete that pet's local data.
- Delete the app to remove Lil Nose data from the phone.
- A device or iCloud backup made by Apple may still hold a copy until you delete that backup.
- Cancel Premium in Apple ID → Subscriptions. That is Apple's billing, not a file we keep.
We cannot remotely wipe a phone we never signed you into.
8. Sharing
We do not sell your information.
We do not share pet names or game state with other companies. Apple sees purchase activity because the store is Apple's. The version-check host sees a normal network request, as described above.
We may disclose information if the law requires it. In practice there is little to disclose, because we do not hold user accounts.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Keep using the app only if you accept the new policy.
10. Contact
Use the Support page for Lil Nose: Your Virtual Pet if you need to reach us.
